Matsqui Police Chief Jim Stewart reviews the Abbotsford Lion Air Cadet Squadron #861 at its promotional banquet Wednesday night, November 28, 1979. Stewart presented cadets with certificates earned at summer camp, and new rank insignia to cadets promoted to higher ranks. Leading air cadets John McLeod, Phillip Lutton, Dawn Houghton and Tracy Bull were promoted to Cadet Corporal. Cadet Corporals Peter Chuck, Lawrence Huppie and Pat Ginther moved up to Cadet Sergeant.
