Team dropped the deciding game 9-4 Thursday night at Aldergrove park. P15348 - "Kinsmen Elgin Bartsch, left, and Marlin Loeppky with the giant Athlete of the Year Award which will be presented to the outstanding high school athlete at the first athlete of the year dinner at the Royal Canadian Legion auditorium. Guests will include Herb Capozzi, BC Lions general manager, Joe Kapp, Lions quarterback, and Max McNabb, general manager and coach of Vancouver Canucks. Tickets are available from any member of the Kinsmen Club. Door prize will be two season tickets to the Lions football games."
