3. P49716 - Handiwork in the form of leaf collections and terrariums was diplayed by Cubs of the Second Abbotsford A and B Packs at a Mother and Son Dinner. Among those who competed for prizes were, front: Jerry Seekings and Ian Dick. Middle row: John Hanson, Jim Solberg, Ken Newby, Bruce Luesley, Drew Miller. Back: Craig Egilson, Larry Coates, Lee Sousedik and Gary Goddard. The dinner was held at St Matthew's parish hall where dinner was catered by the Women's Guild of St Matthew's. The MC was Harold Luesley, chairman of the group committee. Special guests were Rev and Mrs Norman Calland; Don Clarkson, District Cubmaster and Mr and Mrs Gerry Freeman, Assistant Scoutmster of Second Abbotsford Scout troop.
