2. P18159 - "Huskies of Abbotsford Junior Secondary School came up with an overtime victory on Saturday to capture the Fraser Valley junior boys' basketball championship. Huskies now go on to the provincial junior boys' play downs. Giving good account of themselves in their respective leagues are the junior girls and junior boys squads. On Friday night both teams see action against two highly-rated Vancouver teams in the Abbotsford Junior Secondary School gym. At 7:30 the unbeaten Abbotsford junior girls meet strong opposition from Marpole and at 8:30 the junor boys take the floor against the unbeaten Windermere Secondary juniors. Proceeds from the nominal admission fee go to the sudents council.
