The Sumas Boys Under 11 Years team, after losing to the Abbotsford Rotary Boys Under 11 Years team, who received the Sumas Recreation Commission Soccer trophy. Front row, left to right: Allen Harvey, Brad Viscoe, Ted Bryde, (first name obscured) Bistro and Graham Frost. Back row, left to right: Ricky Molnar, Johnny Molnar, Randy Molnar, Bob Funk, (name obscured), Terry Carstensen, Bob Harvey and Stan Harvey. Coaches were John Molnar and Jimmy Holmer. Sumas was defeated by a shutout and had six goals scored against them on March 4th. Both teams were at the top of the league all season but this game decided league and trophy winners. George Fish presented the trophy after the game as the Sumas Recreation Commission representative. |
