An unidentified tow truck operator (unshown) prepares to tow a badly damaged 1978 Toyota stuck in the Trans-Canada Highway median at the Peardonville overpass. The driver, identified as Margaret J. Leight of 253rd Street, Aldergrove, suffered a broken leg. The accident took place on Tuesday, January 31, 1978 at 8:15am as Leight was travelling eastbound. This photograph was taken looking north.
