Expressions of joy were on the faces of all the Abbotsford-Matsqui pageant contestants Saturday, March 7, 1979, at Abbotsford Senior Secondary School. There was a large crowd on hand to share the excitement of the contestants and contest winner Carol Sim as she was crowned Miss Abbotsford-Matsqui. First runner-up was Kathryn Neumann and second runner up was Julie DePape. Contestants themselves chose Robyn Nicol as "Miss Congeniality" of the competition. Image not published. |
