"Winning most coveted cups at awards day ceremonies at Abbotsford Senior High School are Don Macdonald, the Heppner trophy for the athlete of the year, Uta Forstbauer, the Hacker Press trophy for all-around girl, Dave Brown, the Crocker trophy for all-around boy, and Beth Tessaro, Hi-Y service cup. Winners are shown with Miss J Tomlinson, center, of the awards committee. Students were also recipients of bursaries, Uta winning the IODE bursary, Don, the Abbotsford PTA bursary, Beth, the Abbotsford and District Teachers Association bursary, and Dave, the Abbotsford Rotary Club bursary." |
