Upper Sumas B. C. Electric Railway station. From the Henry Ewert Collection. The donor is the author of The Story of the B. C. Electric Railway, 1986. The BCER made its first run on October 3, 1910, connecting communities along the south side of the Fraser River between New Westminster and Chilliwack. Over citizen protests the railway made its last run on September 30, 1950. |
