Description |
The award presentation of the Sumas Recreation Commission Soccer trophy to Abbotsford Rotary Boys Under 11 Years team. Sumas was defeated by a shutout and had six goals scored against them on March 4th. Both teams were at the top of the league all season but this game decided league and trophy winners. George Fish presented the trophy after the game as the Sumas Recreation Commission representative. The Abbotsford team included: Ricky Parsons, Brad Ross, Robert Templeton, Dale Larson, Ken Garret, Gary Harris, Terry Smith, Les Szabo, Brad Lister, Wade Parsons, Glen Harder, Timmy Short, Terry Short, Daryl Goddard, Roy Garrett and Les Szabo. The Sumas team included: Allen Harvey, Brad Viscoe, Ted Bryde, Bistro, Graham Frost, Ricky Molnar, Johnny Molnar, Randy Molnar, Bob Funk, Terry Carstensen, Bob Harvey, Stan Harvey, John Molnar and Jimmy Holmer. |
