1. P21354 - The Philip Sheffield Boys Soccer Team. They won the Abbotsford District 24 Elementary School Soccer Championship after beating Matsqui Elementary with a score of 2-1 in the league finals. The league, in its second year, split the schools in to West and East leagues, with six teams in each league.

2. P21375 - Jimmy Gawley and Sandy Bourquin, dressed as Roman Legionairres, part of a nativity scene during the Christmas Concert on December 21st, held at the Philip Sheffield auditorium. The students were among those Abbotsford Elementary, Margaret Stenersen and Philip Sheffield schools. Some of the characters in the play include magicians, kings, and shepherds, which will perform songs and recitations as well as plays. All funds went to support the Centennial Project 100, which British Columbian schools collected and sent funds to underdeveloped countries for educational purposes.

3. P21756 - Philip Sheffield Elementary Boys team, winners of the District 34 Elementary Boys Volleyball Championship. The tournament was held at Abbotsford Senior Secondary School. Front row, left to right: Ricky Brozer, Gary Goddard, Bruce Massey, Ron Harder, Ken Garrett and Robert Templeton. Ten schools took part: King, Alexander, Aberdeen, Upper Sumas, Clearbrook, Matsqui, Godson, North Popular, South Poplar and Philip Sheffield. Matsqui Elementary was the favourite initially, but was defeated by a Clearbrook team and took third place. Alexander Elementary, despite a tough right, took fourth place in the tournament. Clearbrook won second after being defeated by Philip Sheffield in two close games.
