Ten schools took part: King, Alexander, Aberdeen, Upper Sumas, Clearbrook, Matsqui, Godson, North Popular, South Poplar and Philip Sheffield. Matsqui Elementary was the favourite initially, but was defeated by a Clearbrook team and took third place. Alexander Elementary, despite a tough right, took fourth place in the tournament. Clearbrook won second after being defeated by Philip Sheffield in two close games.
